Well, it is the 20th birthday of my marriage to my lovely wife!  That is to say, it is our anniversary! We wed in the year 2000 on July 15th (which it still is here in Hawaii). I DEFINITELY could not have asked for a better life partner! As for her,... she surely could have done better. I have taken her on way too "exciting" of a roller-coaster ride, and it has taken me, and therefore us, way too long to "arrive". Still plugging away  on that... on several fronts, though,  and she remains faithfully on board.

Well, 'twas my only child, baby daughter Monica's last non-teenage birthday today (Hawaii time), October 20th. I was told, "They grow up too fast."  "They" were right.  She is growing up a sweetheart, though. Could do with less of the boy talk, though.

Happy Birthday to my dad, the late, great-to-me John Michael Stegeman. He would be 91 if he were alive today. He passed when he was 57. I was 16. He would be proud, I think, as I am to have had a dad like him, all the perfections notwithstanding... because he was great in a couple key  ways that REALLY matter!  -
