NEW YORK (AP) -- Green Bay's victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl has surpassed last year's record-setting game in the Nielsen Co.'s preliminary ratings measurement of big cities.

Well, the players are unionized again...  (From a larger perspective, I don't really know how good that news is, but...)  From "The REAL Feed":

Heartwarming story...  From "The REAL Feed":

Bucs sign paralyzed former Rutgers player LeGrand
Seattle Post-Intelligencer: Sports (03.05.2012 00:13)
Bucs sign paralyzed former Rutgers player LeGrand

From what I can see, this kid sure is an impressive young man.  I am sure he has his moments (who, having been dealt such a hand, wouldn't?), BUT he sure seems to have a thoughtful perspective and positive attitude.  I am rooting for him!

"Good news" for the league office.  Nevertheless, it is the other side of the coin that cannot just be dismissed because of the "politics" that probably motivates this revelation at this time.  Truth is truth, notwithstanding political correctness...  From "The REAL Feed":

Study: Former NFL players live longer than typical male
NFL.com (08.05.2012 19:37)
Former NFL players are living longer than other men in the general population, said a study the league sent to retirees Tuesday.

Yahoo's historic NFL live stream averages 2.36 million viewers
TheNewOrleansChannel: Sports  (26.10.2015 12:56)
More than 15 million people sampled Yahoo's live stream of an NFL game on Sunday, the two partners said on Monday. But viewership was significantly lower than it would have been on television.

Most of the audience for the Bills-Jaguars game was in the...

I woke up during the night and made it a point to stumble out and watch for a few minutes.  Did anybody else check it out?  It was streaming well.
