Jesus! I just realized that this got all clusterfucked! There was already a "Jaguars Offseason Report" thread and a substantial "Hugh Douglas" discussion going on on the "Eagles Offseason Report" thread. Fuck! What I am going to do is lock the original "Jaguars..." thread and link it to this one. BUT, the bottom line is that I would really like everybody to pay a little better attention to things here. I refuse to let this place turn into "big-ego, new-thread madness" (not that that is what it has turned into yet). I would just like our posters to post with an eye toward organization and consideration. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation! (Listen, I got my boy Eminem blaring as I'm workin' right now... "Lose Yourself" is just too hype... so I'm feelin' pretty cocky... remember this place ain't about numbers... I ain't got the chains of draggin' me down... let's just all be a little more mindful!) Here is link to the other, now redundant, soon-to-be-locked thread: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=55;a ction=display;num=1047334704.

| It is interesting you make that partular analogy. Rice continues to be the man; Brown, on the other hand, declines. I love Jimmy! Don't get me wrong! He was the inspiration for my piece "With Whom I'd Go To War" (available via our "Fantasy Articles" section). But, he is going to go more the way of Brown than Rice, I think. At this point, he is no spring , really has nobody opposite him to occupy coverage, is not working with the best QB situation, and is going to be dealing with some philosophical changes regarding their offensive scheme, and while I hope for the best for Jimmy, I think 15 to 20, or maybe even 25, is the best he will finish from here on out.

Makes me wonder if Jacksonville even deserves a team based on their local media coverage... Anyway, I was wondering how the RBs were looking. I understand that Taylor is battling a bone bruise (despite saying he wants to be known as the most dangerous RB in history) and Elvis Joseph is spending most of camp on a stationary bike. I heard Toefield looked good, but it was second-hand and there were no details. |
| As anyone heard anything more OFFICIAL about Freddy's injury? Lots of rumors that is injury is more serious than originally believed. Bone bruise....but I have read he may not play the whole preseason. But, if it was Sept 7th he would play. In addition, Toefield vs Joseph seems to be getting more attention than it deserves. Does this mean anything????? Why is Taylor doing nothing? Apparently he isn't even jogging..... fantasy owners demand the truth!!
