Week #9 Final Scores Mistakes

For The Game between UFFO's and Killer Eggplants-

1) Jim does not have Tim Rattay. Rattay was picked up by Ray Matty on Week #8. Jim's second QB would have been Doug Johnson.

2) Jim's defense Tampa Bay was showing points against as 11, but they actually gave up 17 points in a loss. My team ony gave up 16 points, but I was given negative points for losing points against 16 to 11. That needs to be changed to 16 to 17 and the negative points given to Jim.

Sorry to bring these up, I was actually expecting the rattay error, but I discovered the defense error when checking the scores.

Somebody might want to double check the scores between the game that was 24 to 23.

Yes, the Rattay thing was a mistake.  I had to do the scores this week and I am not as in tune with the GBRFL2 Rosters.  But, once you mentioned it here, I remembered.  I will fix it in a jiffy. The defense thing, however, is correct.  Tampa Bay's defense only allowed 11 points, a touchdown, a field goal and two extra points.  New Orleans's defense, not offense or special/kick or punt return teams, scored their other touchdown, so it does not count against Tampa.  So, that is correct and does not need to be changed.

I think you're getting our names (Jim and Jamie) and the games (8 vs 9 and 9 vs 10) confused.

Also, the scoring in our game is correct. The TB defense only surrendered 11 points. The other 6 were given up by the TB offense, when a Brad Johnson interception was returned for a TD.

That game was mine! I lost it on the very last play from Brady. Had he not thrown that TD, we would have tied for overall TD's and I would have won our game by 1 point...

Oh well... at least I'm still ahead of Spudboy!

DAMN DAMN DAMN!

I forgot to grab a second Head Coach this week because Dick Vermeil had a bye.  Doesn't it just figure that this is the one week that it comes down to a tie-breaker and my opponent has a -20 deficit for his coach?  I could have grabbed ANY other head coach in the league and won the game.

OUCH!

Only the third overtime game in the history of GBRFL-League play! What a way to blow it too!

Anyway, I missed that it was an "overtime" win and did not indicate it.  That is now fixed on the "Game Results" page.

That really sucks, but pretty funny!!  Just wait til the time when you forget to pick up a starting defense or fail to make it clear you need to pick up one with your free agent picks notes.  It has happened twice this year in our league. (I am the moron who did not make it clear enough.  DOH!!)
