Fellaz,

The burden of the GBRFL2 has been a little bit heavy on me lately with Jeremy's being very busy moving and not yet back on-line.  Things haven't really gone as I had planned/hoped.  I still do not grok the new (overly) advanced speadsheet that Jeremy has so kindly worked on, but is still glitchy.  So, when he got very busy over the last three weeks, the burden of the administration of BOTH GBRFL leagues fell squarely on my shoulders and, as is intimated above, I have been having to do things the "old(-fashioned)" way.  This is NOT what I had envisioned, i.e. the extra league just amounting to double-work for me, which is exactly what it has been over the last four weeks (which, along with "some other realities", probably contributes to the whole feeling of "lack of appreciation" I have these days ).  And, even in the weeks where Jeremy was stepping up, there was a lot of unexpected back-work/clean-up needing to be done because of the mistakes.  I had hoped by midway through this season, we would actually be making the progress to cut back on the time needed to run the show.  The opposite is what has basically occurred, though.

Anyway, this burden was GREATLY lifted this week by our fellow Gridironer and GBRFL2er, Jamie Josko, a.k.a. Walker Boh.  He did the GBRFL2 game sheets this week, cutting my job in half (well, by 40% to probably be more precise as I still, as expected, have to do some of you all's stuff), ultimately back to basically what it used to be.  And, given the way we went about it, I am confident that mistakes will be at a minimum or avoided entirely.  Also, Jamie has offered to step up and do this if need be from here on out.  I do want to continue upgrading the spreadsheet, but I also want to wrap up this season with few problems.  So, Jamie's availing himself like this provides a great option.  The spreadsheet project can perhaps be put off until the offseason (perhaps with a fresh start).

MOREOVER, this is all not to mention that Jamie followed all of this work that he did to help me and for the GBRFL2 until LATE last night up with a DONATION.  Guys who step up and actually do things (moreover, without a whole bunch of questions) to relieve some of my burden are not really the guys I am looking to to also donate.  But, this guy, in this case, and along with guys like Jeff, have... moreover (again), without question!  For that, I am VERY grateful and VERY touched (no, not nuts ) because it gives me hope that some still "get it" and are being considerate of my circumstances and are, moreover, seeing the bigger picture... around here.

Well, guys, the site is updated for the week.  ENJOY!  I am...

...Sincerely (Grateful) ,
Steve Steg

Jamie... Thanks for taking charge here and getting things done.

Now that you've freed up some time for Steg, maybe he can get back out on the street begging for change from passersby to keep this website going.

I felt like I should step up with a donation because I really use the site a lot and have benefitted greatly from it (a medium for my burgeoning career as a fantasy football journalist?).

I know others of you who call this site home want to see it continue to grow and improve as well, so I hope everyone sees the work Steg puts into this site and thinks about making even the most modest of donations (or uses the store).  The GBRFL2 has been an excellent experience for me -- a new perspective on fantasy football -- and I thoroughly appreciate the opportunity that Steg has given me (us) with this league.
