Rule Clarification - Kickers

I have a question about how we handle kickers in this league.  I know that, unlike other positions, if you start a kicker and he gets no scoring opportunities it does not default to the next kicker in your line-up.
 
But what happens if you start a kicker and before game-time he is listed out.  Does it then default to your second kicker?
