Guys... I see a couple of you are looking for QBs. I have three of them that can put up nice stats any given week (Hasselbeck, Delhomme, Favre) and am willing to listen to offers for any of them. It's pretty obvious that I've dug myself a nice hole already this season (0-6! ) so I'm looking to grab someone with unrealized potential or draft picks for next season.

I also have a lot of WRs... more than I really need. Talk to me...

YIKES!  Look...  I'm not calling anybody out by name,... so anybody gets bent out of shape,... think, before you post, what that in and of itself says.  It is what it is... I can see there are still dudes who are still figuring out the GBRFL system and how to play in a DEEP keeper league (and perhaps just how to deal in an extremely competitive fantasy football environment).  Some fundamental precepts of deep keeper leagues were broken in some of the deals I saw going down.  I can't get into the specifics without its being obvious who I am referring to, and, again, with all due respect to "feelings", if you "feel" this is directed toward you, please, before getting all defensive, reflect on that fact of the matter.  But, in any event, while I said what I just said "qualitatively" speaking, "substantively" speaking, it is wonderful to see all the activity. Good luck! Some of yous are really going to need it!

Looking to trade draft picks for a younger QB. I prefer making multi-player type deals if that helps.

WOW!  Trades are usually best seen through the eyes of the beholder, so to speak.   But I don't see any part of this trade that Phenoms got the better of.  I think he just weakened his team with EVERY player involved!

Wow...you guys really think that K Jones for J Jones is not a better deal? Not that I'm trying to speak for Tony, but He just got a player who has caught 45 more passes this season than the guy he gave up, not to mention there is a goalline monster stealing JJ's TD's from him. JJ TD total = 3 , KJ = 7. All JJ gets are yards! Wilkins for Vandy rates his way as well. The "give"  here is really Holt and Jacobs. I can tell you he fought tooth and nail for about two weeks about Jacobs!! As for Holt...he has not done anything in 3 weeks and he still has Williams, Wayne, and Colsten (young studs).Cotchery??? Well who knows where this project will lead, he does show some promise though and is young. Jacobs was his agony, but I personally think he got stronger for this years run. KJ's numbers are way better than JJ's and Wilkins has won me the kicking category every week except two. Add winning the kicking category every week and boosting your RB's numbers to his stud receiving numbers and I think he gives the top spot a run for its money. Yes he has lost RB depth in losing Jacobs, but Jacobs has not proven that he can run the full load yet for a whole season. We know he has the talent and the upcoming opportunity, but we'll have to wait and see. He is an upright runner so his only concern will be durability and longevity.  He also increased his draft order by as much as 15 spots and will get a top 15 pick or better.

I will be shocked if the Giants do not draft a RB in the first round next year. If they do, then Jacobs value goes way down.

Also, KJ isn't losing goal line carries like Julius Jones is to Barber.  Also, Holt is a stud.

That's what we were talking about too...I think he is better used like he is being used. It's a risk for sure, but even if he is in the same role as a goalline vulture next year, he will fill a bye week replacement position for me. We'll see. And yes Chump, Holt is a stud...he's just a little off at the moment. I was trying to pull one of his other three guys but he wasn't hearing it!!!

I DIGRESS...
I would LOVE to give my detailed take on this most recently-cut deal.  BUT, I will not. AND, PLEASE, my time is VERY limited right now, do NOT invite me, one-by-one to do so behind the scenes by private message and/or e-mail.  Really, this post is more to illustrate the corner I feel I've been painted in (by...) and, frankly speaking, how much I don't even enjoy the very existence of this league anymore.  I hope that changes come '07.  I've learned a LOT about human nature here on "the Gridiron",... notably,... the other side of the coin of volunteerism and donating, which is...  Again, no energy to discuss this. If you want to reflect, reflect... I have been for about a month now (and I've stopped myself short of pressing the "Post" button on a number of posts lately).  I have been a bit quiet lately.  That's not necessarily a "good" thing,... or a "bad" thing.  It is what it is.  Things are what they are.  I have to "assess".  Anyway, "interesting" trade, fellas (is that "sterile" enough of a comment?).  "Enjoy" the league!  I look forward to the compressed week of work this week getting stuff done (on the site) before Thanksgiving.
