Since I don't see any surprises of who I am going to keep, I might as well post them now.  I obviously reserve the right to change these keepers based on trades made  and injuries.(until the 27th)

13 Protection Spots.....

QB-- Aaron Brooks, Tim Couch, Jeff Blake, Chad Pennington, Chad Hutchinson

RB--  Deuce McAllister, Stacey Mack, Kevan Barlow, Curtis Martin

WR--Donald Driver, Torry Holt, Joe Horn, Donte Stallworth

Hey-

Since you started this new innovative trading practice, I am interested in getting a piece of the action. Can I have your 2nd and 4th round picks for nothing? Thus, I won't even put you through the agony of deciding whether or not you will keep what I am giving you, since it is nothing.

Yea, since you're giving away draft picks, DB, I wouldn't mind your second-rounder, and I surely have "nothing" to give up for it!

Hey, DB, just a heads-up!  The deal I am offering you is better than Mark's.  I only want a second-rounder, and the "nothing" I'll give you is better than his!

Haha.

If the option to keep a player is "nothing", then I accept the offers presented above.  I will take these offers for the option of keeping either Tomlinson or Holmes for those draft picks.   Please update the transactions page accordingly.

Besides, the recipient of my philanthropy needs all the help he can get.

Not to be picky, but I think "Vandalay" is spelling like that.

The deadline to post cuts has passed.  ALL cuts were submitted ON TIME! THANK YOU, once again! What else should I have expected, though?  You guys always come through! Accordingly, I have already updated our "Rosters" page accordingly! (Gotta love a sentence beginning and ending with the same word!)

NOW, with regards to this "Vandole/Vandalay" thing, upon further review, it is actually an apparently debatable issue, but DB is definitely more correct and Francis is incontrovertibly wrong!  Do your homework next time, Fresca!  Here is the corroborative evidence:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Art+Vandalay;

http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/seinfeld4/george.html;

http://www.movieprop.com/tvandmovie/Seinfeld/george.htm.

HOWEVER, another, arguably more "professional" source claims the spelling to be "Vandale":

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3329849525.

Ultimately, there is WAY more support for "Vandalay" and NO support for "Vandole", so...  Frankie, I have changed the spelling of your handle, but you can change it to whatever you want.  It is just that I know you are ultimately going to say to me, "Why don't you just tell me what you want it to be?" So,...

I've always seen it as Art Vandalay... but why didn't you just take George Costanza's other alias - the porn star one: Buck Naked... it is much easier to spell.

I would stick with Vandalay since he is an importer/exporter.

I agree!  But, what does his being an importer/exporter have to do with its spelling? Moreover, George uses this pseudonym for an imaginary architect character as well (see third link above).

Nothing.  I'm saying Vanadalay over Buck Naked.  I refuse to associate anyone in our league with a porn star or with the word "naked."

Oh!  I agree with that!  Buck Naked is too generic and hackneyed!  It's like Mike Hunt or Ben Dover.  Art Vandalay is WAY more clever and witty of a handle.

Do I recall correctly that Vandalay Enterprises was an importer/exporter of latex products?

Yes, in one episode I can vividly recall, the one in which George, in order to meet some sort of requirements to receive unemployment, has to show he is actively seeking employment and which has Keith Hernandez in it, Vandalay Enterprises is a fictitious latex import/export company he makes up.

Steve, your actually mixing up two episodes I believe.  In one, George tries to get Hernandez to impress the unemployment lady and in another he uses Jerry's number as Vandalay enterprises, which sells latex or textiles, I can't remember.
