Over at the league site, the "extended" Week 17 matchups are ALL SET... And, then, there were two... The question is, who will remain the  and who will become the next  of the GBRFL??? Good luck, D and Markie! ... As for me, I just want that winning record...

I started out Sunday morning full of confidence and excitement. Then numbers start coming in....
record day for SJax
great day for DeAngelo
great day for AP
shut-out for NE
So I then say to myself, "Well, at least I have tonight - I get to watch the Broncos fight for a playoff spot..."
It may be closer than I think but I do believe DB has completely thrashed me. A fun season, to say the least. If that is the case, congratulations on your Championship - a very good run this year.

The Superbowl game is still up in the air as far as I can tell. However, I am sure that I beat the last place team, which is all I need ... having locked up the tiebreakers (although winning the Superbowl would be nice).
If I am correct, then this Championship is more of a relief than anything ... after 10 years of (mostly) sucking

It appears to be all locked up now. 
All I know is that Deangelo Williams is ths man! I cannot remember another player who pretty much went from a low #3 to a high #1 overnight. I bet that anyone who had him in any league and who was in contention won their league.

The "Results" page has been updated through the wild-card round. No more finals, but in terms of the championship, the games are over; DB's just sittin' on the ball and runnin' out the clock in both games. To declare the games final, all we're awaiting is, in these instances, a truly meaningless stat of head coach - points differential, which will not even factor in in either of his games.
Congratulations, D!  It's been a long time in the waiting, but you've climbed the mountain again, my friend! Good show!  I've now got two guys to worry about gettin' to four rings...

Sorry for the delay here, fellas... If you knew what I've been up against (in my personal/professional life) the last couple weeks, you'd more than understand. In any event, the pages over at the league site have been updated through the Conference Championships. The season's not quite over for the league, BUT the GBRFL Championship IS...
Dave Bohrer is officially our 2008/09 Champion!!!  He actually won it, as they say, "going away." It didn't even end up that close. So, what are you doing now that you've won the championship, Dave?  ...  CONGRATS, bro! 
In terms of the rest of the winners podium, in unfortunate news for the Pak organization, it is virtually certain that Frank will overtake him for 3rd Place, and Markie's got 2nd wrapped up.
