Proposed Scoring Changes

I have a couple of proposed scoring changes to the bonuses to suggest. The offensive numbers in the NFL have increased and so I think that some of the QB bonus numbers are low. For example, the completion percentages are much higher now and so I think a 65% bonus is too low. Even an innaccurate QB like Lamar Jackson is almost at 65% and a way below average QB on a last place team (like Sam Darnold last year) is still at 60%. Elite QBs like Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers are at 70%. Thus, I propose that we increase the bonus for completion percentage from 65% to 70%. I propose that we increase the bonus for passing yards from 550 5o 575 and we increase the bonus for passing TDs from 6 to 7. I think the RB can remain the same. There are more RBBCs so the numbers seem fair. Similar for RCs. While the QB numbers are higher, there are more 3-4 receiver sets so I do not see a need for change at the RC bonuses. For defense, I think that some of the bonus numbers are too high including the points allowed and yards allowed. I suggest that the bonus for points allowed be increased from 14 to 17 and yards be increased from 250 to 275. The reason for this is because those numbers are too difficult to obtain. In the past, there have been suggestions to adjust the points for a 50 yard field goal. I agree with those prior suggestions and think that the category should be a 3 point category. I think the 50 yard field goal category should be 3 points and not 4 points.

| Overall,... ACTUALLY, I think that the passing yards bonus should be raised to 600, BUT I do think that maybe the TD's should remain at 6. Quote:| I think the RB can remain the same. | I actually think that the bonus for receiving yards should be increased to 325 or 350. | I am kind of wishy-washy here... I could go either way... Adjust or leave it the same. I am somewhat inclined toward 14 but 275. | With the bonus, I do not disagree.

| 1) For passing, I think raising the percentage to 70% makes sense. I also think 575 instead of 550. I think 7TDs is pretty aggressive and it should stay at 6. 2) I agree with Steg that the RC yards should be raised to 325 to start with.......RB should remain the same. 3) Defenses, I would not touch it only because 1 starting defense already has so much impact on our scoring. I dont think we should make it easier for defenses to have even more impact. 4) I strongly agree the 50 yard field goal category should be nerfed. I think it should be a 3 point category and I would either eliminate the bonus or make it 1 point.
