I'm in a situation that I could use some advice. If I win this week, I make my leagues playoff...If I lose, I amd the #1 seed in the losers bracket. I need a WIN!!! I have been going riding Steve McNair all season long and when I need him most, he pulls a calf. Here is my options at QB. McNair - who may not play at all (gametime decision...Argh) Volek - who I am trying to pick up on the waiver wire Holcomb - Who can throw for 400 yds, or 5 ints, it just depened on which Kelly shows up Or I can search the waver wire but, we have 14 teams in our league and each team has 2-3 QB's. That means most are gone. Who do I start?

You don't just have to win this one game, you also have to prepare for the playoffs - all at the same time. Volek is a great pick up if you don't plan to drop McNair. Volek is said to be comfortable with the offense, and you have both - whichever one is playing. A very good strategy. And either one of them has the rest of that team around him. Wright would be my second pick. It's a run first team, but the run can get them into the red zone for some passing TDs. And don't forget that they surprised SEA. Everyone expects him from here on out. I'd be surprised if T. Hasselbeck is still available. But if he is, and if Spurrier behaves himself (he still hasn't announced his starter), it could be good. I'd go with him as my third choice. Unless I were in a keeper league, I'd watch and then decide on that one. Delhomme has an easy schedule against the pass the rest of the way, and he has receivers. Otherwise, you could try Kitna or Mirer (well, why not?) as options if none of the above are available.

| He said it is a 14 team league and everyone has 2-3 QBs on their roster. If Kitna was still available, then no one in that league deserves to own a fantasy team. Kitna is a clear starter on most fantasy teams right now.
