playoff lineup help!

I'm in a very unique league...8 team keeper league where everyone makes the playoffs. 10yds/pt for rec, 20yds/pt for rush, 50yds/pt for pass. 4pts/pass TD, 6pts/other TD. We have 1 RB slot, 2 WR slots, and 1 RB/WR slot. I'm the 7th seed looking to pull the upset... QB Vick @ Ind H-Beck @ StL Favre @ SD Leaning Vick here for the "big game potential" factor. RB Jamal @ Oak Alexander @ StL M.Williams @ Chi Bennett @ Chi A-Train vs Min Jamal is an obvious start, but Shaun has been average at best lately, and that won't cut it this week. Tough to bench him though since he 'could' explode any week. I'd probably go with 3 WR's before I start A-Train or one of the Vikings. WR Boston vs GB Boldin vs Car J.Smith @ NE K.Robinson @ StL R.Smith vs Clev Moulds @ Ten Moulds is worthless playing hurt, and I have no faith in Koren. Rod is going against the #4 pass D, and Jimmy is in NE in December...last 4 NE home game, opponent has scored 6, 3, 0, and 0. I'm leaning Boston and Boldin, but Boldin has a new QB this week... Any thought would be appreciated...should I go with 3 WR's? which ones? or stick with Alexander? keep in mind our scoring rules which kind of level the playing field between RB's and WR's.

QB - Vick gives you the big play potential and is basically a #2 RB starter. But how can you pass up Favre at San Diego. The SD def is bad, the weather is perfect, and Favre is still throwing plenty of TD passes. RB - Jamal is a given. WRs - Carolina has not stopped the pass very well this season, so even with a new QB, Boldin could produce. The Rams also allow a fair amount of yards through the air, and Seattle can score once they get going, so Robinson should be your other starter. RB/WR - I'd go with Alexander because he can explode, as you pointed out.

I would go with... QB - Vick (On turf, Indy's susceptibility to the run, but decent pass defense, which could provoke Vick's running... Ya just got to go with Vick!) RB - Lewis (Obvious!) WR - Boston (Green Bay can be beaten by bigger wideouts like Booker, Boston and I think Boston is due) WR - Smith (It's a hunch. I just think he, Plummer and the Broncos passing game are due for a good one this weekend against the Brownies at home.) Swing Position - Alexander (Due for a big game; could very well have one. But, also, he's a pretty safe bet. He'll guarantee you a certain decent number of touches.)

QB - No way you don't start Favre vs the last ranked passing D in passing TDs allowed. 29!! That's over 2/gm. WR/RB - I would always put an RB here unless you get a pt/reception. Go with Zander, who should get you 80-100 comb. if nothing else. If you REEEAAAALLLY need the suprise game to pull off a win, maybe try Moe vs CHItown, but I don't like any of the MIN backs vs Urlacher. ATrain will probably get more work if they start Rex, but not enough to pull of a huge score if you need it, so I stick with my Zander pick. WRs - When it's tough to choose, I like to go with a process of elimination. JSmith out in the cold vs a very good NE Def...sit'em. Moulds playing hurt and BUF has recommitted to Henry...sit'em. Boldin on a very bad team starting a QB barely hanging on in the NFL...sit'em. KRob @STL where D is getting good pressure and their DBs are playing better because of it. Hasselbeck still can't win on the road....sit'em. Boston has excellent size, is the only real receiving threat other than LT, and GB pass D isn't that great...START'EM. RSmith at home and The Snake was told to start being more productive, trying to put a charge into the DEN O. He responded with a 20-29 for 238 performance. RSmith got 85 of that....START'EM! GOOD LUCK!
