I would go with Johnson and Bruce. My analysis will be quite a bit more simple-minded than Callie's, granted. They've been the best and most consistent of the three. It's Week 12, not Week 2. Don't go benchin' your big guns now, at least not for the likes of Lelie, who has been hard to predict and is going to have to share balls with Smith regardless of (when) who's covering who. Also, with respect to weather, since it was brought up as a supporting factor for playing Lelie over Bruce, Lelie's game is in Denver... Denver - Green Bay... Six snowballs, half a dozen snowballs...

| Touchdown scoring is a difficult barometer. Though I think touchdown scorers are key to fantasy success (as touchdowns imply yards, but not vice-versa), guys can be touchdown scorers and not good fantasy starts, or at least good regular/dependable fantasy starts (touchdown scoring is a necessary, but not sufficient condition). Receptions and yardage to me are the better barometer of trends, and Lelie has still not yet shown me the consistency necessary to call him a safe bet (at least, this week, vis-a-vis Bruce, who has been very consistent this season). All that said, it wouldn't be preposterous to play Lelie this week over Bruce. I just think it requires a roll of the dice that playing Bruce is not. His being my homie is irrelevant.

| I am guilty as charged, this was a great call. However, I would still have started Lelie, and would definitely continue considering Lelie over Bruce for the remainder of the season (Especially in weeks 15 and 16 where the Broncos play KC and Tennessee respectively). I think what Callie and I failed to consider in assessing the Rams/Packers matchup are two salient facts: 1) Green Bay only has one NFL-caliber cornerback and his name is Al Harris. 2) They use Al Harris on the opponents best receiver, and in the case of the Rams, that would be Torry Holt. Certainly, Ashley Lelie has finally arrived as a dependable target, in fact he has been the statistical equal of Rod Smith thus far, and does not lag Issac Bruce by all that much in fantasy points (127 v. 108), even despite Bruce's best game of the season (best game in probably few seasons I would guess). The only concern I would have for Lelie and Broncos passing game would be how much Shanahan begins to lean on the running game as the season draws to a close. (I'm also concerned by Plummer's new facial hair, what the f&%K is that all about ?, but not as much as Shanahan).
