McNair Co- MVP?

Am I the only one who was shocked to see that McNair was named co-MVP? He had a great season, but not a MVP season. Here is my view on the MVP: 1. Jamal Lewis - How often does a back run for over 2,000 yards? How many do it on a team with Boller/Wright as the QB and Taylor/Robinson as the WR? He got his yards when everybody new he was Baltimore's only offensive weapon. Take Lewis away from Baltimore and they are lucky to win 3 games. His team won their division. 2. Priest Holmes - He simply can take over a game. Broke the TD record this year and his team won their division. Enough said. 3. Manning - His stats speak for themselves. His team won their division. I would lump Mcnair in the next group along with Tom Brady (beat McNair head-to-head and his team won their division), Holt (had an unbelieveable season), and L. Tomlinson. Heck, the Titans won the two games McNair missed. He had a great season, but not a MVP season. Am I missing something?

Jamal Lewis was clearly the MVP in my book. The opposing defenses knew Kyle Boller couldn't hurt them, so they stacked the box and Jamal still got his. Even when Anthony Wright was able to move the team through the air (on occasion), it was still Jamal Lewis who carried the team on offense. McNair won some games early in the season, but Eddie George came on and the offense was much more balanced. Manning was clearly the best QB and was definitely the MVP on his team, but he had many more weapons to accompany him with Edge, Marvin, Reggie Wayne, and Dallas Clark.
