Well, almost 2 years (1 year and 10 months to be more accurate) and NOW 20,000 SUBSTANTIVE posts down! And, we're really just ! (I'd like to know how many pages that amounts to; given the "substantial" nature of most of the posts around here, I'm guessing A LOT!) "LET'S HEAR IT FOR "the Gridiron"!!!"

Woohoo! The scary part is that, between Steg and I, we've accounted for 37.5% of all those 20,000 posts. Geez, I need to get a life! (Actually, about 90% of my posts occur at work, so I have a life and I'm just lucky I have a job!)

Guys, if you didn't happen to notice, we just surpassed a SIGNIFICANT benchmark: We blew through 10,000 posts on our main board "the Red Zone"; additionally, we broke the 24,000-post mark overall, indicating solid distribution throughout the site. To check out what I mean, visit "the Gridiron's" index page: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi. Thank you for all of your contributions, my fellow Gridironers and Gridironettes! This could not have been achieved alone. GREAT TEAM EFFORT! Keep it pithy and keep up the great work!

We just busted through a whopping 25,000 posts on "the Gridiron"!!! And, the thing is... it's a QUALITY 25,000 posts, not 25,000 posts of just one-line bullshit and flame-throwing! Thanks, guys!!! Let's keep up the "good work"... and "good works".

So, what's your money on??? We're approaching one BIG benchmark and two other important intermediate marks: 16,000 posts in "the Red Zone", 8,000 posts "between the 20's" and, the biggie, 40,000 posts overall. Which one do you think falls first??? (Well,... okay,... it can't be the "between the 20's" mark... But, between "the Red Zone" and "between the 20's", which one will win the board race??? Should be the former, given its current big lead... BUT, it is NFL Draft time... )

| Wait a minute... Where was my brain? I thought our overall total read 39,964 (at the time), not 39,564! So, there's really only the race between the two boards, and that isn't even much of a race... 'Spose, upon even further review, the real race is between "between the 20's" and our overall post count... In any event, sorry for the confusion, guys. ... Still, though,... we're gettin' there...

Well,... all,... we just BLEW THROUGH 40,000 posts on "the Gridiron!!! Also, as advertised (in a most confusing manner above ), as of late we also broke the 16,000-post mark in "the Red Zone" and the 8,000 mark "between the 20's"! Thanks for all the participation, everybody! Keep it up!!! Strike up the band...

Just want to get this off my chest... and out there... Thanks to KKS there pulling his "Insane Gang" league off the site (I'm still pulling the knife out of my side), if you didn't notice, we are back down to 35,000 and change posts on "the Gridiron". Not a biggie, though... It's just time for us Gridironers to bull our necks, hit the sled hard and get us back to where we belong. We'll be celebrating the BIG 4-O again here soon enough...

Todd, you've been giving me some good laughs lately... first thing when I come on in for the day. It definitely gets me off on the right foot, and, in light of this specific circumstance, which I do feel bad about, cheers me up. Thanks!

Guys and gals,... there may be some spammers, one-post-and-outers, never-posters, and abandoned accounts in there, which is true for EVERY forum, but have yous noticed??? We are a measly 20 members shy of 1,000!!! The "good word" is getting out... I reiterate... and urge you guys to get your loved ones over here A.S.A.P. to be in the Top 1,000... on "the Gridiron"!!!
