GBRFL PREDICTIONS

I decided to make our league predictions here.

Here are my picks for this season:

I will list my thoughts later, for now just the teams.

1st:  Mark Hahn    --  Maid of Dishonor, Has a very good, very deep team.

2nd:  Dave Bohrer  --  Maid of Dishonor

3rd:  Frank Gonzlez -- yet another plaque

4th:  Steve Stegeman -- needs 1 more year of trades

5th:  Rob Pak   --   needs 1 more year of player growth

6th:   Steve Warner  --  Finally BIG Trade for QB

7th:  Travis Cooper  --  RB concerns

The next group are all in varies rebuilding stages.

8th:  Joe Parsons  --  Improved team still a couple of  years away. All the trades last year weren't used effeciently in this draft. Needs WRs that produce and RBs need to step up.

The next 2 are a total toss up, but they will improve a bit based on top waiver picks for much of the year:

9th/10th:  Danny Feder -- Weak RB corp and underproductive WRs give him a great draft pick for next year

9th/10th: Dave Trout  --  good trades in draft improve bad team, but lack of youth and depth will fight for good waiver picks. Traded next years draft away for experience and hope, some will pay off, some won't.

As terrible as Willie Parker was last night, 1.9 avg and 19 total yards he had almost as many as both of your starting rbs. My team is far from good but i will be competative. I think Dave B team will win again and it wont be close, he has depth and all studs in every position. Mark team is good but nowhere near what DB team is.

I hear ya Feder, but last nights game is nowhere close what the PITT and TENN are capable of. Last year both teams with in the top 5 of rushing.

BTW I did not start Lendale White against the PITT DEF. I did start Mendenhall because I thought that the loss of Haynesworth would have had a bigger impact on the TENN DEF. Like that he may get a score and some solid junk time yards in the 4th quarter to burn up clock time.
I guessed wrong!!!

My bold predictions are:

1) either Pak or Warner will get a plaque this year.

2) Trout will not come in 10th place.

I appreciate the confidence DB, but my 0-2 start proves otherwise.

I agree with you wholeheartedly DB.    I should have gotten a plaque last year .

Anyways, I think that you are looking good to repeat this year.
