Pertinent Biography
E-mail Jim at jim@fantasyfootballer.com

Jim was introduced to fantasy football in 1985.  He quickly organized a league of friends in high school, which is still the backbone of his league, the Quick Football League, today.  He owns three QFL championships, and is a member of the GBRFL2, inaugurated in 2003 as one of the flagship leagues on "the Gridiron", as well as of another innovative league run on "the Gridiron", the CBFL, for which he is the current Defending Champion.

Jim was a part time radio deejay for over ten years before becoming a public safety dispatcher for the local police and fire departments in 1999.

When not going over stats on the computer or cheering on the Giants to another victory, Jim enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Bridget and three children, Mason, Brady and Emma.  Jim spent the summer coaching Mason in his first organized tee-ball venture, and his other son Brady will be on your fantasy roster in the year 2026.  You heard it here first!  Jim also enjoys reading books by Terry Brooks and R.A. Salvatore and getting his house ready for Halloween!

E-mail Steve at stegrock@fantasyfootballer.com

Steve has been participating in and running fantasy football leagues since 1989 and was employed as a correspondent/reporter/writer for FootballInsider.com during the 2000 season.  He currently is commissioner of and participant in the George Blanda Rotisserie Football League (GBRFL), which was established in 1993.  He has won four League Championships, most recently the 2004 crown.  In addition, he established the Crystal Ball Fantasy League (CBFL), a spin-off on FFToday's Mock Draft #1, but as of 2003 run right here via "the Gridiron".  Steve is also the administrator of "the Gridiron" forum and is the webmaster of all the sites hosted at the FantasyFootballer.com domain, namely the web sites for the GBRFL, GBRFL2 and CBFL as well as "the Gridiron".

Steve's professional life has also brought him to and from Asia, where he has ultimately lived and worked for a total of seven years.  It is also where he met his lovely wife, Yoo-jin, better known to us English speakers as Gino, who not only tolerates, but appreciates his passion for and encourages his avid participation in fantasy football.  His last position in Asia was as instructor of English as a Foreign Language at Catholic Sangji College in South Korea in 2002.  He was the only foreign instructor at the school and spent most of his day "in Korean".  Earlier in his career abroad, he wrote materials for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), including going on to act as project head and main writer for Master the TOEIC, which later was transformed into the Yong & Son Media TOEIC Preparation Course book.  He is also the founder of the English education web site theEnglishMaster.com.  He has a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  This came after spending a year in the graduate program in the School of Philosophy at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and ultimately plans to earn a Ph.D. in his beloved "discipline" of Philosophy.

To learn more about Steve and these unusual, extreme circumstances under which he has participated in fantasy football from abroad and continued cheering on his Broncos, take a look at the Pro Football Weekly article "Long-distance relationship".
