Yea,... but...  The "3 Strike Rule" was a lousy 5 minutes from application a week ago... if...  Gado was the OBVIOUS pick this week...  He shouldn't have even fallen as far (or should I say as little) as he did...

Well, "someone" has, alas, broken the "3 Strike" rule.  Technically, a "process" is to follow.  It doesn't have to be done right away... or even at all, pending a "discussion" (I think a serious discussion at least needs to take place).  For information on this rule, visit our old (no longer even linked-to anywhere, defunct) GBRFL "News & Notes" page and do a "Find" on the term "3 strike" or just scroll down to the posts dated 12/9/99 and also 8/21/00.  Here's a link to that page:  http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/newsnotes.htm.

I'd like to not make that explicit quite yet,... but... you can figure it out yourself by quickly reviewing the lineups pages.

I apologize for missing submitting my lineup for this week.  I normally do it on Friday evening, but I was caught up with something and COMPLETELY forgot until it was too late.  Sorry for any problems it may have caused.

sorry guys for my lack of commitment this year. i may be the subject of the 3 strike post (see above). no excuses. i am guilty of non participation. i only hope i will be given another opportunity as in next year and wont be excused from participating in this league. then again how many chances should one person get, a fourth strike?...i can say this: next year will be different if i am still around and hope to be. i owe everybody an apology and my fate is in your hands. thanks, JC

Thanks for the apology, Keith.  But, hey, it's no biggie.  It's okay if you forget to submit a lineup once here, once there.  Shit happens to the best of us.

Thanks Steg.  I just didn't want to cause any problems for the Championship.  Can we implement a rule next season that your lineup will be carried over from the week before if you forget to submit??  Just an idea.

Happy & Healthy New Year to you Steg and to all fellow GBRFLer's.

Keith, Keith,... now you've disappointed me a bit. That already is the way it's set up, been that way since day one.  I am a little puzzled as to how you've missed that (dudes have missed submitting lineups from time to time; one dude even more so as is implied by this very discussion of the recent violation of the "3 Strike" rule, but nobody's ever fielded an empty lineup; that your most recent lineup is used is also implied in how the lineups submission process is handled as is concisely explained at the very top of everybody's lineups page). I'm actually guessing this was just a mental fart.
