I would like to pick up from the "In-season Report" thread the following discussion, which incidentally, folks, is more in the spirit of how I'd like to see these threads used by our members, here on the "Offseason Report" thread...

I believe Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams are the top 2, but I do not see either fitting that team.  There are quite a few restricted free agents......including Pierre Thomas.  Maybe swing a trade for Tashard Choice?  I just don't see the Chargers going with a rookie RB.

Actually, upon further review, the guy who I really think will end up being their stop-gap back for the next one to three years is... soon-to-be free-agent Willis McGahee.

Ouch......watching the NFL Redzone Channel.  Ryan Matthews' ankle got SERIOUSLY bent backwards.   Does not look good for him to come back and the commentors are alluding to the fact that THEY think he will be out quite a while.

Ryan Matthews out 4-6 weeks with a broken collar bone.  Injury happened on his first play.

That great run at the end of last season may have been it for WR Alexander.  Torn ACL.  Done for season, and, with his history of injuries dating back to college, career surely in jeopardy.  Currently from atop "The REAL Feed":
