Hey, all... I meant to do this before the kickoff of tonight's game, but, in my FAILING ongoing effort to come up for just a little air these days,  I ran into...  "technical problems" here this afternoon (just to f my day today up  ). It has allegedly (according to the techies at Hostica) turned out not to be site-wide, but just affecting me. For some reason, I was unable to access Steg's List and thought for sure everybody was experiencing the same problem. As it turns out, it seems like it was something only between my computer and that "ffpro.hostica.com" subdomain.
Anyway, here Week 17, I am granted FREE access to StegsList.com to EVERYONE.  The following are your permissions for Week 17, boyz and girlz:

Well, frankly speaking, I hope you guys have been holding back the donations in anticipation of "Steg's List" 2007... because steps  in the right direction are being made...  Check it out...  In the works for '07 are...
...three additional/improved features,
...and additional discounts!!! 
Yup,... all the discounts that applied last year will continue to apply, AND now "StegsList.com-ers" from last year will get an additional discount, AND in the works is a fun contest where even MORE discounts will be attainable!!!
Keep your eyes peeled,  boyz and galz...
P.S. (Last year's StegsList.com-ers will continue to have access until I turn things over for this year. I say this because there's going to be a message for yous up on the "Steg's Plays" board detailing some of the above.)

Okay,...  one last thing before I go "to bed" here tonight...  this morning... 
With the "StegsList.com/CBFL Contest" goin' on and the discount awards with that ($1.00 off the two big packages per correct prediction of my pick in the CBFL Draft), I wanted to quickly elucidate the "standard" discounts. All of the above discounts that I published last year will stand. On top of that, the following discount category will be added...
6. StegsList.com-ers of a year ago - $1
ALSO, though not a category per se, I will award the "Written Work" discount to those who have already agreed to take on a fantasy team report this year, but have been held up from starting by me (because I've been too busy to give the in-service). I will also still grant the discount to the departing writer. For example,... to let the cat out of the bag,... Gene is stepping down from doing the Cowboys report this year and Tony O is taking over. The $2 discount will be available to THEM BOTH.

WELL, ALL, StegsList.com 2007 HATH ARRIVED!!! Who's gonna get on over and get the  Stegger on his or her side this year??? And, in light of the StegsList.com-CBFL "Pick Steg's Pick" Contest, which turned out to be quite the challenge for you guys, yous guys may want to CONFRONT Steg on "Steg's List" vis-a-vis his CBFL draft, http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=54;a ction=display;num=1184758697, as that rankings list was basically the list he was using. By the way, any of you StegsList.com-ers who have had difficulty getting on the "Steg's Plays" board here on "the Gridiron", there had been a problem. Chumpman gave me a heads up that he was having problems. That alerted me, and, lo and behold, when I went into the behind-the-scenes guts, I saw that I had biffed something. I apologize for my mistake.  It is now, in any event, fixed.

For instance dropping Larry Johnson from #2 in week one to #10 in week two, not many folks would have done that and you were correct in dropping him in the rankings. Maybe he gets dropped further in week three, if you think the trend of not getting the carries is going to continue. There are way to many examples of your being right or wrong on the list to go into here.
The point I want to make is that this is very unique stuff, that I don't think you get any where else. 
Keep up the good work, this is an under discovered gem of a site that could be a great tool for fun, pleasure, and profit! You just have to go huummmm and think about the lists relative to the previous weeks.
I do like the arrows going up and down on your picks as time permits you to add them back in.

Shame the numbers are higher over there... Kind of "par for 'the Gridiron' course",... but,... hey,... I'll just keep takin' note and pluggin'  away... toward my goal... for this place... There ain't no quit in the old Stegger!
Anyway, thanks C-Dub for the "good word", though, man! In the least, you made my day yesterday... and today. That counts for something in and of itself, man. BUT, it is nice that you put a little  (A LOT in fact) behind it.
