Girlz (including debutante Douglina),
Here is what Rick Kamla of Fanball.com had to say in his most recent "Player Spotlight" article on Brian Griese:
"Back up Griese with another sleeper like Brad Johnson or Jake Plummer -- as well as Beuerlein if your league has huge rosters -- and you’ll be SET at the quarterback position, despite blowing it off for the first seven rounds."
Oh my! The harmony is overwhelming. How about a little standing “O,” pals, for the MASTER?
I still haven't even left the States and already it is an auspicious start for the Snakes!!!!!
yo guys, i know it's only preseason, but how about the DeShaun Foster. oh and joe, sorry to hear about trent dilfer.
Yea, I, too, am in tears about that one, Joe. If you happen to be "vulnerable" and want to throw David Boston at me for Jamal Anderson, drop me a line. LOL Just "putting out feelers!" LOL Anyway, along the lines of hypin' up players... How about that Jamel White character? Learn from the MASTER!!!!!
How do you do it, Steggie old boy? Always one step ahead of all of us. Who would have thought to sign Brian (permanent shoulder in a sling) Griese. or Jake (This is finaly his year) Plummer or Brad (I'll probably lose my job to another Johnson) Johnson. or Steve (I can't go in, I'm in traction) Beureline. or Jamel (I can't hold a starting job ) White. or Terry (Ouch) Glenn. or Germane (always the gimp) Crowell. or Tony (Mr. Hoops) Gonzalez. How do you do it, oh yeah, you watch for players released by me and scoop them up to drag you down year after year. YU DAH MAN !!!
Show your face, pal!!!!! Don't go hidin' behind any pseudonyms, pussy!!!!!
You know who it is PAL.
Wow. Not much chit chat on the board yet. Just a little advice... you might want to talk some shit while you can because I'll probably resume my normal position ahead of everyone once the season starts. With a new squad rolling in, suddenly things don't look so bad for me. Too bad I had such a shitty draft. Dorsey Levens probably won't pay off... neither will Ricky Watters when he signs. Santana Moss will probably suck this year too.
You said it D.B., not me. Your team sure does suck! You'll be dishin' it out this year, alright, "from the rear." I will be the one dishin' it out "in the rear," if you follow, which you should as you will be "following" me and my Plummer Snakes all year... as will the mass media. You keep aimin' high there, grasshopper. Might as well... can't hope for any worse!
Hope you all had fun at D&Bs!
Thanks "Rob"! (Don't want to give too much away to rotcod yob eht ynnad, you know, about the gnilleps sdrawkcab!) LOL Thanks for dropping by! Please, keep in touch!
It is all about chasing the main man on top. Listening to you girls fight is very entertaining. No reason to fight, I am going to win it again. No one is going to beat me. Keep fighting for second place fellows. Defending back to back champs- Nation of Domination!!
Pak, Your receivers are looking solid. Sorry to hear about Rocket. I guess I'll be playing against Antonio Bryant week 1. Do any of your receivers play in the NFL? Don't worry though, you know where to come when you need one. I guess Rocket was the first of the eye rollers to go down Steve. He will be spending the season with Moses Moreno waiting for you to pick him up in week 15. I look forward to playing you both week 1.
As for Week 1, my free-agent list goes 23 deep!!! How 'bout yours, gay boys?
Nice Schedule. I get to thrash our newbie AND the perenial bridesmaid in week 1. Who could ask for a better start. Steve, go ahead and mark the 2-0 on my record.
I did give you a sweet start there didn't I now Francisco de Gondwanalanda?!?!? Watchya' beat Danny the boy doctor and lose to debutante Douglina. LOL
In all seriousness, Steve you must be worried about your QB situation. I actually watched how bad Brad Johnson is. He relly does suck.
Don't worry about Steve, he's all set. He's got Jamel White and Jamal Anderson at RB. And Terry Glenn, Germane Crowell and Tony Gonzalez at RC. He's loaded for bear. Oh wait, we were looking for players that will actually contribute this year. My bad.
Uhhh. My list of free agents was 2-3 deep. But thanks to Gridiron, my list is now exactly 23. Thanks.
You're welcome, Davey... You could use all the help you can get as your team blows big monkey dick! Anyway, your compliment there serves as a perfect segue for me now... This, as you can see, is the last post of the old "Trash Talkin'" board. This board, as was the (best of the) others, will be archived. You are now to do your trash talkin' via the GBRFL board at "the Gridiron" located, if you do not already know, at: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi As per the "user agreement" of the Gridiron, feel free to continue to be free with your use of (foul, obscene and profane) language, even though it seems like our trash talkin' has regretfully gotten kind of mild as of late. : ( Also, you will be able to use the GBRFL board over at the Gridiron for many other things besides trash talkin', like announcing players you have on the trading block and getting to know your fellow league members better. Though this little board has served us well/its purpose, our board over at the Gridiron will serve as a free and much more convenient and effective source of bringing us together than this board did. It is also more convenient and centralizes us better than communicating by e-mail and less invasive than communicating by instant messanger. Our board at the Gridiron also provides a ton of neat features to use when making a message. JUST BEING ABLE TO PREVIEW A MESSAGE BEFORE POSTING IT SHOULD MAKE IT A TON EASIER ON ALL OF US WHEN IT COMES TO DANNY'S POSTS, we can only hope! ; ) At any rate, it will be a great upgrade for both our awesome web site, fantasyfootballer.com, and our great league, the GBRFL. I look forward to seeing all of you registered and posting over at the Gridiron as soon as possible. Besides the obvious purpose it serves for us, think of this transition and joining the Gridiron as doing a favor for me. This is basically my first "real" step toward seeing where this fantasy football thing can take me. I, who have been dedicated to this hobby since August of 1989, am somewhat sick and tired of seeing dudes, who have been playing for just a couple years, surpass me with their web sites and CASH IN just because they "had" more computer savvy than I "had." Well, that is not the case anymore. I'll tell you right now... WE, in this little tight-knit league of ours/this little corner of the FF world, have some of greatest minds in this game and some of the greatest passion for this hobby. It is now our turn, especially, if I may speak frankly, mine. R.I.P. "Trash Talkin'" page! Thanks for all the enjoyment you provided! See you guys over at the boards of "the Gridiron"!!!!! : )
